(The lighting mod I had was Burnt Waffles Fresh Cut Day 2.5 with IP water) 🙂 (I also threw in the Realistic Clouds Mod as well.
#SIMS 3 WORLDS POPULATED MODS#
So I had a Lighting Mod saved in my backups folder and decided to throw it into my Praaven Mods folder to give it a try. 😉 ) We all have our quirks and preferences you know? 😛 (And I gotta admit I hated that sewer green water while in Edit Town – it’s normal/blue in Live Mode, don’t worry. ^As you can see it’s really not a dark world…but to me it was just a hair too dark for my taste. (At least that’s how it shows up in my game – I run the game using disks – so I wanted to give anyone who wants to add this world to their game a heads up that that is normal).
#SIMS 3 WORLDS POPULATED DOWNLOAD#
When you download Praaven the water is not blue, it’s green. So naturally I promptly got rid of the mods that I figured were the culprits. I was like, “What the!?” once I opened the game again after downloading some mods. 😛 )Īnd I will admit that I had a couple of conflicting mods that caused the world to look almost as dark as MH! True story, not even kidding. I get that in the Middle Ages all they had for light was torches and candles so naturally places seemed a little more dark then how it is in our day, but…that didn’t mean that the outdoors was dark! (Except at night – Don’t take the “Dark Ages” term too literally creator of the world. (Though I don’t think ANY world out there is as dark as MH! ) More than I would like it to be, but certainly not as bad as MH. So, the reasons I decided to use a lightning mod in the world.įirst, the world is a little dark. ^Hey I got the Lighthouse in that pic too! I swear someone came up with the idea to create it because they were probably like: “My Knight sims need to workout” or “My sims have nothing to DO in Praaven so let me give them something to do!” And the logs really ROLL!Īs the sun began to set here’s how it looked over the Castle Keep: When he got home I had to have him try out the Logs Treadmill! I still laugh hysterically over it! ^Was trying to catch the pretty mountain in the background, but it was too early in the morning hence why it was covered by clouds. I forget his horse’s name, it’s a long one that showed up when I rolled the dice in CAS, and it sounded medieval so I kept it.Īnyhoo, here he is riding away from town on the grand bridge to return home. I built up his home on a lot that would have space for a horse and plopped them down into it. His name is Gereint (pronounced Gair-ain’t ), I got the name from a medieval fantasy book I am reading, and he’s a fisherman who lives out by the docks. I needed to see how some of my Live Mode mods were working so I created a random Sim to test them out. I thought I would share a few pics I took while playing around in Praaven and trying out a couple of lighting Mods. I hope those of you in America had a very lovely 4th of July!
